REACTION | Christian Bale's Batman vs Ben Affleck's Batman
Now that the smoke has cleared with fans and critics alike, it's time that I chimed in and put my stamp of approval or disapproval. Here is my reaction to WhatCulture's Christian Bale and Ben Affleck's Batman.
Let's take a look a Christian Bale's Batman first. Although we love you Michael Keaton, he was the first Batman of it's kind. A vigilante that could actually exists in our society today, from the suit to actual person with multiple personas. A persona is side of that we use in different situations. Bale's interpretation of the Bruce Wayne felt spot on. His Batman is what we can call an internet sensation. Memes and Gifs are filled with mocks of his animalistic Bat voice. What's that saying? "No such thing as bad publicity". In this case, this may be applicable. The reason being is why spend so much time and energy with Memes and Gifs, which put extra attention of this fact.
Now looking at Ben Affleck's Batman. Feel familiar? It should because we may have seen this before. A disgruntled older Bruce Wayne who feels his legacy is nearing it's time. We are only missing the story of a broken back at the hands of Bane similar to that of The Dark Knight Rises.
Maybe we could have this Multi-Verse Concept that the fans alike are talking about have Christian Bale's Batman meet Ben Affleck's Batman or even Michael Keaton's Batman.
