REVIEW | Legion of Collector's DCTV Box

Funko did it again with this second entry into Legion of Collector's Box. A quick refresher is that the Legion of Collector's Boxes are the equivalent to a DC Loot Crate, a subscription based for anything DC Related from Figures to Comic Books. Let's take a look, shall we:

Similar to the March 2016 Legion of Collectors Batman vs Superman Box, this one features Green Arrow on it. I am really loving the blue silhouettes.

The Supergirl patch is more of interest to me, Melissa Benoist is finally getting recognized as The Girl of Steel.

Funko has outdone itself from the last shirt, which was Batman vs Superman themed. This Arrow shirt with green font on black background is such a killer combination.

Not really a big fan of having a real person on the comic book cover. This is the Tale of Two Cities story from the The Flash mythos with a Special Edition cover.

Once Melissa Benoist being representing as Supergirl with this magnificent Rock Candy. Rock Candy is an exclusive All-Girls figure collection by Funko. Also includes Wonder Woman and Batgirl in the same line-up.

SPOILER: Can we even claim this is Jay Garrick? This should soon Hunter Zolomon (as The Flash) or Zoom (as The Flash). I still love the this figure turned out. It already has a strong demand on poppriceguide.com. 

All in All, such a great box! I almost did not order it because and then I saw the teaser with the Supergirl Logo and Jay Garrick Helmet on Funko's Instagram and I was sold.

Our patience from this last article paid off. It is Official, Supergirl and The Flash are going to be crossing over! Give me a minute ... in the meantime, learn about how this  crossover  could work. Many concepts and ideas have been spread around. The first idea being that Supergirl exists in Earth-3 since Superman was never mentioned in the CW Arrowverse. A newer idea is based on the latest episode of Legends of Tomorrow where Rip Thorn states he has seen Man of Steel and Dark Knights fall. We will have to wait find out on Monday, March 28, 2015 on CBS.

REVIEW | Deadpool

Hello all, I'm Brian. My good friend Reneir has graciously invited me to contribute to his Marvel/DC blog. Today I saw the movie "Deadpool," so I thought I would share my thoughts. My familiarity with Deadpool, not being a comics reader, comes mostly from his appearances in video games such as the "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" series. Basically, I knew that he is an ultra-violent assassin who loves the sound of his own voice and regularly breaks the fourth wall (aka, he knows he's in a comic book, video game, movie, or whatever it is, and frequently addresses the audience). That's really all you need to know going into this movie. If you're not prepared for Deadpool's . . . unique personality, you might be in for a shock, especially if you're expecting your standard superhero fare.
